The President of the Somali State has called for a proper defense if the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that Ethiopia signed with Somaliland in January this year.
President Mustafa Muhumed Omar of the Somali State of Ethiopia said the MoU is good for the country and the entire region.
He called on Ethiopians from all walks of life to support and defend the MoU effectively.
President Omar, popularly known as Agjar, issued this call on Thursday during an interview with Ethiopian media.
He stated that the agreement caters for the needs of Somalis and Ethiopians alike.
Agjar urged them to speak out against the enemies of Ethiopia who are opposed to the MoU.
