President Mustafe M. Omer of the Somali Regional State of Ethiopia hosted lunch for members of the Somalia U17 national team.
The President invited members of the team to his palace for the lunch on Thursday.
They attended the lunch a day after creating history by qualifying for the final of the Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) U17 championships.
Somalia beat Uganda U17 side 8-7 on penalties to qualify for the finals.
The match ended 1-1 after 90 minutes.
Somalia will now meet South Sudan who beat Tanzania to also reach the finals.
