President Mohamed Abdi Waare of the HirShabelle State has sacked two state ministers. He has already appointed two new ones to replace them.
A press statement from the Office of the President said that the Deputy Ministers in the Ministry of Security and the Ministry of Finance have been relieved off their duties.
Their replacements were announced as Hassan Mohamed Elmi and Yusuf Hassan Moalim as the Deputy Minister for Security and the Deputy Minister for Finance respectively.
The statement from the Office of the President said the immediate former deputy ministers were let go to improve the performance of their respective ministries in the region.
The news comes three months after the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports, and the Minister of Water and Energy were sacked.
