One of Somalia’s presidential candidates paid the Vice President of Puntland a courtesy call on December 28.
Dahir Mohamud Gelle, the leader of Dan Qaran Party, visited Vice President Ahmed Elmi Osman Karaash at the latter’s official residence in Garowe.
Gelle confirmed the Monday meeting to the press and the public at large.
The former Ambassador, Minister of Information in the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS), and an ex-Member of Parliament also confirmed that they held an interview with Karaash.
Gelle expressed gratitude to Vice President Karaash for according him “a warm welcome” and demonstrating “good neighborliness.”
