Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre arrived in Dhusamareb for the National Consultative Council (NCC).
Barre arrived in the administrative capital of Galmudug on Friday.
He was with Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama and other senior federal government officials.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in the city earlier in the week for a series of consultations ahead of the NCC.
