Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has called for the completion of the constitution.
Speaking during Friday’s Iftar in Mogadishu, the Prime Minister said that authorities have to ensure that the constitutional review process proceeds to its logical conclusion.
In his speech, Barre reiterated the importance of the constitution in Somalia’s sovereignty.
He added that the East African nation also needs a constitution that promotes stability while placing Somalia on a trajectory of future growth and development.
Barre spoke as the number of leaders speaking out against amending the constitution increases.
