Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre chaired the weekly Council of Cabinet meeting in Mogadishu.
The weekly meeting of cabinet ministers took place in Mogadishu on Thursday, September 8.
Ministers received briefings from their colleagues who are in charge of various dockets.
Some of the ministers who addressed their colleague’s in this week’s meeting include those in charge of interior security, finance, and internal affairs.
Further, ministers discussed ongoing drought response around the country.
Prime Minister Barre led the ministers in reaffirming the need to intensify the war against terrorism.
Ministers vowed to proceed with reforms in the financial sector too.
