Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre arrived in Baghdad to start his official visit to Iraq.
On Saturday day, Barre was received warmly by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani.
Barre visited the offices of Prime Minister Al Sudani for talks earlier in the day.
He inspected a guard of honour before stepping into Al Sudani’s office for in-depth discussions.
Sources revealed that their talks mostly centered on strengthening the historic ties between Somalia and Iraq.
