Prime Minister Chairs Meeting of Sub-Committee on Security

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre chaired a meeting of the sub-committee on security.

Recently, the Council of Cabinet agreed to form a sub-committee that would focus purely on security-related issues in Somalia.

The sub-committee met with the Prime Minister on Monday, September 19 at the Office of the Prime Minister in Mogadishu.

Essentially, their meeting focused on the ongoing operations against Al-Shabaab by the Somali National Army (SNA) forces around the country.

They also discussed the people’s uprising against the militants in various parts of the country.
