Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble led Somalia in mourning a Kenyan Senator who lost his life on February 15.
Roble described the 80-year old Kenyan Senator, Yusuf Haji, as a “Somali elder and veteran politician whose influence was greatly felt in the region.”
Haji died at a Kenyan hospital early on Monday morning.
He is scheduled to be buried later in the day.
Prime Minister Roble described Haji as a veteran Somali politician whose value in Kenya, Somalia, and the entire Horn of Africa region would be missed greatly.
