Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble addressed international partners on the progress of Somalia’s elections preparedness.
Roble addressed representatives of the international community, including United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), on December 27.
Several FSG ministers also attended the virtual session.
Apart from elections planning, the Prime Minister addressed the partners on other aspects of the upcoming polls.
These included elections budget and security.
Lately, Somalia has witnessed a significant increase in the number of terror attacks in different parts of the country.
Representatives of the international partners reiterated their call for the need for dialogue to implement the issues agreed upon in the September 17, 2020 elections.
