Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble traveled to Barawe on October 3 to discuss elections security with local authorities.
President Abdiaziz Hassan Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen accompanied the Prime Minister.
A communiqué from the Office of the Prime Minister indicated that he would be in the region meeting with local security officials.
He is also scheduled to hold discussions with African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) over security in the Southwest State.
Moreover, they will be discussing the need for intensifying the fight against Al-Shabaab.
