A prominent Quran teacher was killed in an inter-clan clash that took place in Middle Shabelle.
In Saturday night clashes between warring clans, the Quran teacher lost his life.
Four of his students were also killed in the clashes.
The clashes were at a village known as Haji Ali in Middle Shabelle’s Adale district.
At the time of the incident, the Quran teacher and his students were walking back to their homes.
Militia members then ambushed them on the road and killed them.
