Abdullahi Abokor, Somaliland’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, says that he will take the Justice and Welfare Party (UCID) to court.
Abokor expressed anger and displeasure at the recent accusations from the UCID Party leader who called him out for widespread corruption.
Faisal Ali Warabe, UCID leader, had accused Abokor of embezzling public money too.
On October 19, Abokor spelt out his intentions during a press conference.
In the press interview, he urged Warabe to bring out any evidence he has against him. Otherwise, Abokor told Warabe to expect to appear in court.
While speaking to the media, Abokor also informed Warabe that the European Union had funded the sustainable road maintenance project to the tune of US$25 million only.
