Puntland has announced the first Coronavirus death in the regional state.
A body formed to oversee the regional state’s response to COVID-19 has confirmed the death.
Further, the body said the patient died before his COVID-19 test results returned.
Thus far, Puntland has only confirmed one positive COVID-19 case.
Countrywide, number of COVID-19 is 286 with 13 reported deaths.
