Puntland has celebrated the 24th anniversary of its founding as one of the regional states of Somalia.
President Said Abdullahi Deni led members of his government and other residents in celebrating Puntland’s anniversary on Monday, August 1.
During the anniversary celebrations, President Deni launched four projects in Garowe, the administrative capital of Puntland.
One of the projects he commissioned was the official opening of asphalt-paved roads.
