The Puntland Disability Organizations Network presented its concerns to the Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC).
Members of the network met with the representatives of the regional electoral body to make their requests and concerns known.
During the meeting, which took place on September 27, various issues were discussed.
Mostly, the discussions focused on the implementation of extensive civic and voter education activities that target people with disabilities.
The purpose of the education is to ensure that people with disabilities participate in elections.
Puntland is preparing to hold local government elections in the coming weeks.
