The regional state of Puntland has elected 16 Members of Parliament (MPs) in elections held on March 5.
Puntland elected the latest batch of legislators that will represent its interests in the House of the People (Lower House).
One of the MPs is a woman.
Saturday’s elections at Bosaso, Puntland’s second voting center, are a race against time as the entire country has to complete elections for Lower House MPs by March 15.
