Puntland Security Forces (PSF) provided water-trucking services to local residents for the second day running.
PSF troops started providing the water-trucking services on March 17.
On Friday, they were in two rural areas in Puntland – Bari and Mudug – to provide local residents with access to safe and clean water.
The troops have been deployed in the area to conduct a military operation against militants.
While doing that, they have also embarked on providing water trucks to vulnerable families in the region affected by the ongoing drought.
A communiqué from the PSF states that the forces have reached a number of residents with these services.
