In a major counterterrorism victory, Puntland security forces have killed over 40 ISIS-linked militants in a large-scale military operation in the rugged Togga Miiraale area of Bari region, officials announced.
The offensive, conducted under Operation Hillaac, targeted key ISIS-Somalia strongholds and disrupted an imminent suicide attack, dealing a significant setback to the terrorist group’s foothold in northern Somalia.
