President Said Abdullahi Deni of the regional state of Puntland has chaired the latest weekly meeting of his cabinet ministers.
Deni chaired the meeting, which took place on March 24.
Cabinet ministers at the meeting discussed wide-ranging issues.
Top on their agenda was the ongoing drought. Puntland is one of the worst-affected regions in Somalia.
Secondly, the cabinet ministers also prioritized discussions on security.
They also talked about the need for restoring peace in Sangejabiye and Saaxmeygaag.
President Deni chaired his first cabinet meeting since announcing his candidature in the upcoming presidential elections in Somalia.
