Dhaadaar, Puntland – A high-level Puntland delegation, led by Interior Affairs Minister Abdi Farah Said and State Minister for Presidency Abdifatah Abdinur, visited the recently liberated Dhaadaar area to assess the region’s security and stabilization needs. The visit brought together government officials, local leaders, and Puntland Defence Forces (PDF) stationed in the area, marking a significant step toward restoring state presence and public services after months of insecurity.
During the visit, officials engaged directly with troops on the ground, reviewing security measures and operational challenges. They also met with members of the local community, listening to their concerns and identifying ways to accelerate reconstruction, improve public services, and strengthen trust between the government and residents.
The delegation commended the Puntland Defence Forces for their efforts in securing Dhaadaar, acknowledging the sacrifices made to reclaim and protect the area.
