A minister from the regional state of Puntland has accused President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia of ignoring Las Anod clashes.
The minister stated that President Mohamud has not given the Las Anod situation the much-needed attention.
Las Anod has been in clashes for several months now.
Hundreds of people have lost their lives and many more are nursing their injuries.
The clashes are between Somaliland troops and local militants who are loyal to Mogadishu, where the country’s leadership is located.
