A delegation of Members of Parliament (MPs) visited Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to discuss peace and stability in the region.
Prime Minister Barre received the delegation of MPs who represent Puntland in the federal parliament on Sunday.
Their discussions, which were at the Prime Minister’s residence in Mogadishu, focused on the recent National Consultative Council (NCC) agreements.
Prime Minister Barre also reassured them of the commitment of the federal government toward the peace and stability of the regional state of Puntland.
They all agreed on the importance of using dialogue as a means for resolving issues and differences among them.
