Puntland’s representative for political affairs and international relations, Mohamed Abdirahman Dhabancad, stated that Ethiopia provided key support to the Somali government in regaining control over the presidential palace in Mogadishu.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Dhabancad downplayed Egypt’s involvement in Somalia.
He suggested that Ethiopia’s role in stabilizing the situation was more significant.
This remark comes amidst ongoing geopolitical dynamics in the Horn of Africa, where both Egypt and Ethiopia have been involved in various capacities, particularly with their respective interests in the region’s security and political landscape.
