The regional state of Puntland remains opposed to plans by Somalia to ban TikTok, Telegram, and 1XBET.
The Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) declared that the three would stop operating in the country from August 24.
Somaliland has announced a similar ban.
In banning them, the Somali government accused them of enabling the sharing of horrific content and misinformation.
