President Said Abdullahi Deni of the semiautonomous state of Puntland visited Baidoa city on a sightseeing tour on Friday.
Deni has been in the city for a meeting with President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta-Gareen of the semiautonomous region of Southwest.
He arrived at the city on Wednesday and met with Lafta-Gareen.
On Friday, he traveled around the city sampling the beautiful attractions that it has to offer, which include the former Presidential Palace and the Gerbooda Waterfall.
His itinerary included a tour of the Ali Aden Marguu’s farm.
Deni commended Baidoa and the outskirts of the city for the amazing sites that it offers to tourists from all walks of life.
He traveled to Baidoa following his successful trip to Mogadishu to discuss and sign the elections deal between Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States.
