President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland held a meeting with footballers who will be representing the region in the upcoming football tournament.
Puntland regional team has prepared a team that will take part in a football tournament organized for all the five Federal Member States (FMS).
Deni encouraged the team that is scheduled to participate in the upcoming tournament.
He had an opportunity to encourage the players, coaching staff, and representatives of the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
“Sports play a crucial role in social development, peace, unity, and integration of communities,” President Deni said.
He urged the footballers to be ready to learn crucial life lessons and values as they forge their football careers.
