In his annual address to the Puntland parliament in Garowe, President Said Abdullahi Deni expressed support for Jubbaland’s decision to hold indirect elections and encouraged other regional states to consider the same approach.
In the speech he delivered on Saturday, President Deni underscored his firm opposition to any “illegal term extensions” at both federal and state levels, emphasizing that such actions violate the constitution.
