Aspirants vying in the upcoming presidential elections in Puntland have vehemently opposed the new list of regional legislators.
The presidential candidates spoke out against the list of 66 legislators that was published on Monday.
They claimed that outgoing President Said Abdullahi Deni fabricated the list.
Puntland’s Electoral Dispute Resolution and Vetting Committee published the list earlier today.
They warned Deni against a leadership style that’s capable of plunging Puntland into political instability and destruction.
