Security forces in Puntland foiled a planned Al-Shabaab attack in Bosaso on Wednesday, February 17.
Apparently, Al-Shabaab militants planned to carry out an explosive attack at the Puntland town of Bosaso.
Several materials used for making explosives were seized during the operation by Puntland’s security forces.
A statement released by security forces in the region confirmed that they are not yet aware of the target of the planned Al-Shabaab attack.
