The regional state of Puntland is currently considering improving facilities within Bosaso Airport.
On February 24, the regional Council of Ministers announced this during their weekly meeting.
President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland led the latest meeting of his cabinet.
Deni expressed his delight at the discussions the members of his cabinet held on upgrading Bosaso Airport.
Other issues also featured strongly in the cabinet discussions.
These included the ongoing drought and election of legislators to represent Puntland at the federal House of the People in Mogadishu.
