Ahmed E. Osman Karash, the Vice President of Puntland, awarded the winners of the marathon held on November 18 in Garowe.
Karash, who is the Acting President in the absence of the President Said Abdullahi Deni, attended the 5km marathon held on Wednesday.
The top performers in the marathon received wide-ranging prizes for their efforts.
Puntland’s Ministry of Labor, Youths and Sports organized the marathon in conjunction with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
