The new legislators in Puntland have been sworn into office.
Sixty-six Members of Parliament (MPs) were sworn in on Monday.
However, the swearing in ceremony was not without drama.
Ishaaq Ahmed, the chairman of the parliamentary vetting committee, said he was unaware of the list.
Ahmed denied approving the list.
Opposition candidates boycotted the list.
The list is full of the names of legislators expected to elect the new Puntland president on January 8, 2024.
