The leader of the regional state of Galmudug visited Adakibir town on Tuesday, September 6.
President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor visited the town to assess the security and humanitarian situations on the ground.
His visit follows recent attacks launched by Al-Shabaab militants in the town.
Recently, Al-Shabaab militants destroyed water wells and communication masts in Adakibir town during an attack in the town.
He urged locals to work closely with security forces to eradicate the terrorist menace from the region.
