The Resilient African Feed and Fodder Systems (RAFFS) project in Somalia is up and running.
Hassan Hussein Mohamed launched the project in Mogadishu on Tuesday.
During the launch, Mohamed expressed delight at the project.
Mohamed is the Minister of Livestock, Forestry, and Range in the Somali government.
In his speech, the minister stated that the project would benefit the entire continent.
“The project’s primary goal is the improvement of production of feed and fodder,” said Mohamed.
He added that it would address the challenges of drought while strengthening Somalia’s economy.
