The much-needed rains have fallen on several regions in Somalia.
Residents of the areas reported waking up to the beautiful sound of rainfall on the morning of Tuesday, October 18.
Some of the residents were in Hiiraan.
Others were in Mudug and Bakool.
Somalia has experienced dryness in consecutive seasons for the last 4-5 years thus causing one of its worst droughts in history this year.
However, it is too early to say whether the rains are here to stay or just passing through.
