Rains Pound Baidoa Town in Somalia’s Southwest State

Rains pounded Baidoa town in the regional state of Southwest on Thursday.

Many areas in the East African nation have been experiencing increased rains for the better part of this week.

Baidoa town and the surrounding areas were the latest to experience heavy showers.

The rains, which fell on the afternoon of October 27, left many parts of the town flooded and muddied.

Southwest state is one of the worst-affected parts of the country by the ongoing drought.
