A renowned Somali scholar has passed away in Turkey.
Professor Abdirizak Hussein Hassan passed away on the morning of July 31, as per reports from his loved ones.
Prof. Hassan is one of Somalia’s most renowned and highly-respected scholars.
His achievements are quite legendary. They include founding the University of Health Science in Bosaso. He was also the rector of the same institution.
The cause of his death remains unknown at the moment.
