Thousands of residents of a Mogadishu district received relief aid from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
The residents of Garasbaley have a reason to smile after SODMA officials handed over the relief supplies to them.
Close to 7,472 households in the district benefited from the supply of relief aid.
Recipients included the poor, disabled, and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
The residents of Garasbaley were receiving the supplies for the second time in the last couple of weeks. They first received the aid from SODMA on February 17.
The first disbursement benefited over 1,000 households.
