Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has urged regional state leaders to conduct Lower House elections as soon as possible.
Roble spoke on September 28.
Somalia has carried out elections for the Upper House seats at the regional state level and is now to proceed with local government elections soon.
Prime Minister Roble told the leaders of Puntland, Jubaland, Galmudug, Southwest, and HirShabelle to prepare for the polls.
His call to the leaders comes in the wake of realization that the country is way behind schedule.
Somalia should have been done with all these elections by February this year.
