Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has appointed a committee to investigate concerns raised regarding elections in Banadir.
Traditional elders from the Banadir community have complained about the process of electing House of the People (Lower House) legislators from the region.
On February 19, Prime Minister Roble appointed Muse Gelle to lead the seven-member committee.
Gelle is the Chairman of the Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT).
