Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble chaired a virtual meeting of the National Consultative Council (NCC).
The virtual meeting took place on Zoom on Wednesday, February 9.
Roble and the other members of the NCC primarily focused their discussions on the ongoing elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
Specifically, they discussed ways of speeding up the elections.
Towards the end of last year, Prime Minister Roble urged all stakeholders to ensure that the parliamentary polls are concluded by February 25.
