Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble met with the leader of Wadajir Party in his office on January 6.
During Roble’s meeting with Abdirahman Abdishakur, the two leaders discussed the importance of reaching a consensus to solve the current electoral impasse.
Furthermore, they agreed that the leadership of the East African nation need to iron out any outstanding issue before elections take place.
Roble and Abdishakur talked about the need for leaders to avoid the sort of language that threatens general harmony and peace.
The meeting is part of the Prime Minister’s continued efforts to find a solution for the delayed elections, which threaten peace, security, and stability of the Horn of Africa nation.
