Roble Discusses Electoral Crisis with International Partners

Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble discussed the ongoing electoral crisis with international partners.

Somalia has grappled with a crisis that threatens its ability to hold elections for the last one year.

The East African nation was scheduled to hold parliamentary elections in December 2020 followed by presidential polls in February 2021.

However, it has been unable to hold those.

On March 30, Prime Minister Roble met with representatives of the international community in Mogadishu.

During Tuesday’s talks, the regional state leaders from Puntland and Jubbaland were encouraged to attend the ongoing discussions.
