Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with Nicolas Berlanga, the outgoing European Union Ambassador to Somalia.
The Prime Minister hosted Ambassador Berlanga in his Mogadishu office on August 30.
Ambassador Berlanga is set to leave Somalia after completing his three years of service as the top EU diplomat in the East African nation.
During Monday’s meeting, Prime Minister Roble wished Ambassador Berlanga well in his future endeavors.
Roble called Ambassador Berlanga “a good friend to Somalia” during his tenure.
He also commended Ambassador Berlanga for the important role he played in enhancing relations between Somalia and the EU.
