Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has sent out official invitations to leaders around Somalia to the upcoming National Consultative Council (NCC) session.
NCC is to hold a convention on December 27, 2021.
The convention would take place in Mogadishu.
On December 21, the Prime Minister invited various leaders to the upcoming convention to discuss ways of streamlining the electoral process.
Somalia is currently holding elections for House of the People (Lower House) seats.
Many stakeholders have complained about the integrity of the elections and the process leading to the polls.
NCC’s purpose is to find solutions for expediting, streamlining, and concluding the entire electoral process at the national level.
