Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with several African Union (AU) officials to discuss this week’s terror attacks in Mogadishu and Beledweyne.
He met with Ambassador Francisco Madeira, the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the AU Commission for Somalia.
Several top African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) officials were also at the meeting, which took place on March 24.
Around 20 people died in the Beledweyne attack.
Amina Mohamed, a House of the People (Lower House) legislator from Beledweyne is among those who died.
During the Thursday meeting, Prime Minister Roble discussed AMISOM’s role in enhancing security as Somalia holds elections.
