Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has ordered speedy investigations into the murder of Hodon District Commissioner in Mogadishu.
Abdihakim Dhagajuun, the Hodon DC, was murdered at a junction in Mogadishu on January 20.
Apparently, he was murdered when his security guards and Somali Police Force (SPF) officers clashed late on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, Roble issued a statement condoling with the family and friends of DC Dhagajuun.
In his message of condolences, Prime Minister Roble also urged security agencies to conduct immediate investigations into the shocking death of the government official.
Dhagajuun was killed a few hours after arriving back in the country from Turkey where he had traveled to for medical treatment over injuries sustained from an Al-Shabaab attack.
