Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has returned to Mogadishu after an 11-day tour of two regional states.
Roble left Mogadishu on Friday, December 11 for Puntland.
Thereafter, he left for Galmudug where he has been until Monday, December 21 when he made the return trip to the nation’s capital.
The Prime Minister’s tour of Galmudug was cut short on Friday, December 18 when the venue he was expected to be at came under attack from Al-Shabaab fighters.
Several top Somali National Army (SNA) commanders lost their lives in the deadly incident.
Abdihakim Hassan, State Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, confirmed Roble’s safe arrival in the capital.
